Isa and Nia's Room: Sisters share a storage maximized space.

Sisters, Isa and Nia share a small room that is also used as the family's storage. The girls needed areas to sleep and a desk to work on while also maximizing the storage capabilities of the space. Since the room is relatively small, we opted for our Marino Bunk Bed with Ladder.

Carpet was added to the steps of the ladder for added traction to prevent slipping.

The two girls are very close and wanted to share a desk. So we built one wide enough for them to sit together in. Taking into consideration their storage needs, we decided to maximize this area by building along the entire wall and designed a combination of drawers, open shelves and adjustable shelves behind doors.

Underneath the Marino Bunk Bed with Ladder, our 3-storage drawers were added for even more storage. A neutral palette of natural with white was chosen as a backdrop for the colorful and pattern-filled rugs and bedding in the room.

The room has an awkward corner behind the door and we resolved this by placing our Modulor Storage Closet. Below the window next to it, we added open shelves to store the kids' toys which is perfectly within their reach for easy access during playtime. This also ensures that the window and air-conditioning unit remain open.
