Mila and Stella’s Room: Starry dreams & expanded workspaces

Recently, we returned to Mila and Stella’s room for a third time to give the girls a much needed makeover. The walnut and white combo we used for their pieces assures their spacious room will feel cozy and warm all throughout winter.

A Marino Bunk bed in Full over Full with ladder and a custom modular desk pull this room together to give both girls all the storage they need while still leaving ample floor space.

Our walnut finish on the Marino bunk bed is an elegant and timeless look for the girls rapidly approaching their preteen years.

When designing rooms we also take into account the spaces in-between, not just our furniture. Wall & window treatments and accents matter greatly when designing. In this case walnut perfectly compliments the muted rose wallpaper.

Cutouts alongside the ladder make it easy to climb up and down without slipping.

A custom shelving unit along the bunk bed creates a designated play nook for the girls. There they store their favorite board games and toys.

Lastly we customized our modular desks for Mila and Stella. Open shelving at the top of the desk allow them to easily access their books and display their favorite trinkets. As always our desks have a lower shelf to hide essential wires and cables. In between each desk, the girls have a custom modular storage solution that gives them both equal space to put away supplies.

This expansive modular system can be added to or separated if needed.
